Picking the perfect paint color is harder than choosing a baby name… and somehow even more emotional. 😅

After pinning 3,472 “dream rooms” on Pinterest, here’s how I help my clients actually choose:

✨ 1️⃣ Start with the vibe.
Cozy? Airy? Moody? The feeling comes first — the swatch second.

✨ 2️⃣ Sample big.
Peel-and-stick or poster boards, move them around all day. No surprise undertones allowed!

✨ 3️⃣ Watch those undertones.
Compare to a true white to spot any sneaky pinks, greens, or yellows.

Because the right paint color? It quietly makes everything else look good. 🎨👏

I’ve never been so excited to open a men’s underwe

I’ve never been so excited to open a men’s underwear box. 🩲🦋

Because inside? The one that got away.

I left these butterflies behind at an estate sale… and instantly regretted it. Full spiral.
But then—my estate sale fairy godmother (aka a friend who just gets it) texted me:
“They’re still here. Want me to grab them? They’re half off.” Obviously, yes.

Now they’re mine—and I’ve got them in three sizes and about 13 styling ideas.

But this morning? The kids were still asleep. My coffee was hot. And for five whole minutes, this little corner was mine.

No contractor. No blueprint. Just me, a staple gun, and a whole lot of YouTube confidence. 😅

What started as a “small project” quickly turned into the biggest DIY I’ve ever tackled.
Mesh mishaps? Check.
Weather drama? Yep.
A new appreciation for professionals? Absolutely.
But now? We’ve got a breezy, bug-free space where my kids can play, I can breathe, and we can all actually enjoy being outside.

I designed this patio for my family—

If yes, it needs to flow. If it’s closed off (like a powder room or laundry), go bold. It’s your design sandbox.

✔️ Does it tie into your home’s color story?
Pull a shade you already use. No color story yet? Choose one now and carry it forward.

✔️ Is it timeless—or just trendy?
If you’ve loved it for years, green light. If it’s a sudden scroll-stopper but you’re unsure? Pause before you commit.

✔️ Afraid of commitment?
